My T-Mobile contract (w/ BB 8320) has lapsed and I'm thinking of moving to ATT and getting the Bold through Amazon. The 8320s are going for around $100 on Ebay so I figure the cost of the switch will end up being a push. (ATT charges $99 for the Bold at Amazon.)
BTW, who is buying those old curves from Ebay for so much money?
The Bold has been in the market for a year now and I was wondering if anyone knows if they have fixed all the hardware bugs in the device. I have seen quite a few complaints about stability but most of them were made right after the Bold came out.
I was quite happy with T-Mobile. Am I going to like ATT or do you think I am stepping into a minefield?
Service is going to have a lot to do with where you live. In vegas and cali ATT rocks. In texas t mobile worked better for me. I have 2 bolds. 1 on tmobile and the other on att and it seems as though att has better service in most spots.
Make sure ATT has the coverage you need when and where you need it. All carriers have holes in coverage so do your homework and don't believe the coverage maps. ATT claims to have 3-4 bar 3G at my house, but just recently admitted that I live in a black hole and have no service within 25-50 feet of my house.
