Default screen Protector

Please Login to Remove!

Hello I am looking for a good screen protector for my BB storm, I heard that they make one where you don't see the smudges from your fingers but i cant find it anywhere. If you any suggestions please let me know thanks.

The oil from your skin will smudge anything.

I have the protectors from Verizon and an otterbox over it.

I like the Bestskinsever dot com ones. I have had them on many cell phone and all my BB and Ipods. They even have full sheets of the material to make you own skins.

I just bought the "Invisible Shield" at Best Buy in San Diego. They say it is 'military grade' plastic that doesn't scratch. I sure hope so, because the cost was $22.82 (with tax). Seems like a lot for a little piece of plastic film, but hopefully will be worth it.
I've found that the original film cover on the screen of the Blackberry Storm is VERY prone to scratches. Has anyone tried to remove the original factory film prior to installing a new screen protector? I'm going to post that same question in a separate thread, but let me know if you've had success removing the factory installed screen protector film cover on the touchscreen.

I am also wondering what every one uses for a case?

I just use a holster for mine, but I do have a screen protector. I think I got them from BlackBerry Storm Cases. I have the generic looking holster at the top. It's simple and has yet to go bad on me.

Phanton Skinz is a great alternative to Zagg IMHO.

From my own experience and that of just about everyone else on here that doesn't use a screen protector...you don't need one.

I used to be very careful when it came to my Storm's screen w/o a protector on it, but after months of use and not even the tiniest little scratch, I just stopped caring and it's still in perfect condition. I also have both my traguses pierced (visual reference), and with every other phone I have owned, a dull scratched up spot has appeared over time on the screen from the jewelry rubbing on the screen while talking. My Storm doesn't even the slightest hint of one.

I will just add my Storm experience in this regard.

If you pocket your Storm and are a heavy duty field user, I strongly urge you to protect your screen. If you use the Storm in an office environment and store it on a carrier or purse, you probably can get by without a screen protector.

While the Storm screen is moderately scratch resistent, it will crack and it doesn't take much when the screen meets the right surface. It is a glass screen and once it cracks, its a rather expensive affair to get it fixed.

The Storm screen has a lot of real estate and a screen protector offers ample protection. Especially if you are a rough and tumble user.

Just my 2 cents.
