Default Storm: Getting a hold of one.

Please Login to Remove!

So I'm looking to get a hold of a somewhat cheap, Unlocked Storm.
I've heard people say Ebay, go through friends, criagslist, amazon.
What would be the safest way to get a hold of one, always been a little hesitant about ordering something like a phone off ebay.

Any idea's would be much appreciated.

How about picking up one from a carrier? ...Sounds like the "safest" way to me!

Yes. I also considered getting one from e-Bay but A) the ESN could be listed as stolen and the carrier may not activate, B) something could be wrong with the device and you are without a warranty.

When time permits, I will go to a Verizon Wireless retail location and pick up one. I have heard nothing but good things about them, and the marriage between AT&T and I is fixing to come to an end. They changed ALL of my contract expiration dates.

Doesn't the phone (when the esn is sent through to verizon) automatically become covered under Verizon's/Asurion insruance if you have it on your plan?
