The bluetooth power levels with 5.0 appear to have been reduced compared to the 4.x version. Upgrading and down grading a couple times appear to confirm that for my phone (A2DP cuts out a lot on 5.0, few cutouts on 4.x).

Is there a way to increase the power output of the Bluetooth radio on the Blackberry?

No complaints here with BT power. My wife usually waits in employee parking for me to exit the building after work. From a distance of at least 35 yards my 8900 auto pairs with the MS Sync system in our car ... I'm impressed, or should it be 50 yards...? Anyway, BT seems to work ok for me (5.0.0.348)

I had been using 5.0.0.238 for a while, and BT was fine with my car. Upgraded recently to .348 and it still seems just fine. Connects to the car from at least 30 to 35 feet away (the standard for this version of BT is 30 feet), sound is crystal clear. No complaints here.
