Default Couple questions about my 9700

Please Login to Remove!

just bought my 9700 today and I love it but I gotta few questions

1.is there a way to get the browser to use wifi or does it do it automatically when wifi is enabled

2.when I lock the phone the backlight doesn't seem to turn off is there a way to fix this?

1. uses it automatically.

2. it should, but usually after the specified time for Backlight Timeout (options - screen/keyboard)

It was 3gbefore I turned on wifi is there anyway to get 3g back

3g using the network wifi for inside using your wireless network. If signed up for hotspot UMA calls unlimited for cost of hotspot.

You can press the standby mode key on the top right after you lock the phone to turn the lights off at your command.

I haven't been able to figure wifi either. Even though the device has wifi on, with my modem enabled on the device, I still get 3g coverage showing on the screen. So I seem to get wifi coverage "automatically" at my phone's discretion. Unfortunately, I can't seem to be able to manually select coverage on my ATT device.
