Default Stunning Camera Quality: Bold 9700 [PIC]

Please Login to Remove!

Hey everyone,

I just got a Bold 9700 and I am AMAZED by the quality of the camera. Take a look at this photo I took of my blinds with my Bold 9700: http://img404.imageshack.us/img404/2...qualitypic.jpg

I know it's only 3.2 MP, but that picture is insane! I was able to mimic macro effects using the closeup setting for Auto Focus. I'm really impressed.

This is definitely the best BlackBerry yet.

You can almost count the rope strands, see a little dust on the wood, very nice indeed.

Cell phone cameras have come a long way. The one on my 9000 is crap.

Oh, that is good! My Tour has a good little camera too. Your 9700 must have that image stabilizing feature then? My husband has the 9000 and yes, there's quite a bit of difference without the auto focus; a real bummer. But I don't see dust on your blinds. How do you do it?

I can't wait to get my 9700. I have the curve 8310 and the camera sucks.

Wow, that's a good phone camera. My first real digital camera was a 3 MP and even in low resolution mode of 2 MP it would run circles around my 8320's 2MP pictures.

Looks like you can actually zoom and crop the 9700's pictures and still have a decent shot.

All cell phone cameras are extremely dependent on lighting conditions. This, however, is a spectacular picture. Looks as good as anything I got from my Nokia N95 (5 MP camera, Zeiss optics).
