Hey guys,

Just turned on my new 9700 and saw the Blackberry Application Center under Add-on apps. I deleted this because i thought it was an older version of the App World and downloaded App World. Should I have kept it? Does AT&T need my BB to have this to send stuff to it?

No, Application Center is a app program that carriers can push to your device and basically say "we approve of these programs, download them".
Most carriers just aren't using it at the mo.

Its like Download! on a Nokia N95.

Also, do programs load off internal memory on the 9700 like the bold so the more stuff I have the slower my OS "might" be?

Its within the Os, so you can download it and install it like doing an upgrade.

yes, thats how all blackberrys work, however the 9700 has twice the app emmory as the 9000 so it would take twice as many apps to start to slow the phone down.
