Default Camera Not Working

Please Login to Remove!

My camera isn't seeming to work. Every time I click the picture button on my phone, the screen turns reddish. There are lines on the screen that outline the picture. Once I capture the image, the image doesn't appear in my gallery. Please help!

First thing to try, always, whenever blackberry isn't working right, is to remove the battery for about 30 seconds. Give it a try.

My curve did the same thing, try removing the battery cover and using your pinky finger or another small flat object the size of the camers lens, push on the lens and snap it back into place. They get jarred loose with rough handling. see if that helps

First thing, always in a odd situation like this, remove the battery for about 30 seconds. It may not fix it, but it is highly likely that it will. It is _always_ the first thing to do when the blackberry starts acting up for no obvious reason. Try it and post back an update.

Thanks, I tried it, but it is not working yet. I will take apart to check it because my 8320 phone was thrown to the ground the day before yesterday.

"Thrown to the ground" doesn't fit in the category "no obvious reason."

Double check these obvious possibilities first. Is the camera still assigned to that convenience key? Is the camera icon accidently hidden, or accidnetly moved into a folder?

Good. I'm happy it was not more serious.

Thank you very much, Purple_50 for some great advice. Your suggestion worked perfectly. Just needed to reboot after resetting lens.
