Default Strange Icon

Please Login to Remove!

I've just upgraded my OS from 5.0.0.321 to 5.0.0.351. No issues and everything seems to be work well, although "the weather bug" icon doesn't appear on my desk top. However, curiously a strange icon has appeared on both my home screen and desk top, The icon/marker appears to be a small red and white arrow no more than a couple of millimeters in length. Is this significant?

Sounds like an App World Update.

Thanks for the replies. Sorry I'm not sure how to do a screen shot. However I've noticed that the number 45 appears next to the icon/mark.

Which direction is the arrow pointing?

Do you see it here?

I think I've seen all of these except the service book waiting notification.

Nope. None of the above. Thanks for the replies. I'll try and send a screen shot.

You can do a screeny using JL_cmdr.

What apps do you have installed besides the original stuff? Any facebook/myspace/beejive/twitter/etc?

It may be a browser push message. Go into your message folder then click to get into folders and see if you can go to browser messages.

Cracked it! The strange icon is actually a thermometer which gives you the temperature and is associated with Weather Bug Elite app. Thanks for your responses anyway and I never got around to learning how to do a screen shot.
