Hi Guys,

Is it just my phone 9700 or is it ridiculous that all you have to do is just press the upper left keylock to unlock it again. Why cant you only hit *send to unlock like very other BB. It unlocks so often in my pocket now. is there an option to disable it?

As I said before, the 9700 should have been called the Onyx 9700. It's not at all based on the bold.... It's based on the Curve line. The curve 8900 locked this way.

(workaround) I always keep my blackberry in a hard clear plastic (smoke colored really) shell/case so it doesn't scratch. This also makes it harder to press that lock button.

Odd workaround but I like keeping my bb looking new...the shells ALSO look nice and are cheap on ebay....8 bucks...
