I'm trying to download weatherbug elite to my 8350i. I click the link>>open in Blackberry App World, and I get a message "The item you selected cannot be displayed. Do you wish to save the item."

>>yes>>save

get to a screen that says "downloads" up top.
number "2448" highlighted
"completed (0.0 B/s)

When I try to open the highlighted number, message "the returned page had no content type, and therefore cannot be processed."

Any ideas? Sorry for my ignance.

According to their site, weather bug elite (not free) is the only one supported by blackberry OS 4.5 & older.
What OS do you have on your 8350i?

This must be a new development. I downloaded it from their site a couple of months ago.
I also have BBWeather, and weather eye on my 8330m. They both work very well. My weather bug version is 0.9.6.6, which can be found here.

OK. I have: 8330m, OS 4.5.0.175. I removed, then reinstalled Weatherbug Direct app version 0.9.6.6, I installed from the second link I provided above, rather than BB App World. And, it installed fine. It's running fine.
Gecko: I recommend the link I posted if you are still having trouble with the app. It has several versions listed for different OS versions.

The first link posted above: Weatherbug website, where you can choose free or not free app.
The second link: Weatherbug Direct app, version 0.9.6.6 from softpedia.com (which is free, and designed for BB OS 4.1 and up.)

I'm not saying the one on BB AppWorld doesn't work. I didn't even look. I'm just going off the OP's post, and finding alternatives.
