Default Outlook Calendar syncing problem

Please Login to Remove!

When I sync up, some of my appointments are showing up an hour earlier on the device than they do in Outlook. Outlook is correct, device is not.

It does seem that the appointments that are out of sync are recurring meeting notices were initially set up prior to the turning back of the clocks in October.

Any idea on a fix?

Sounds like a DST issue. Have you done a search and/or checked the BB website?

Honestly, no. I find this forum to be more informative.

I'll give it a try, but based on previous experience I am not optimistic.

I know there were problems with some of the older 8xxx series and there was a DST fix.

Do you have the correct settings for your time zone?

pavlov,

Just want to make sure that you you've already covered the basics.

1) On your Smartphone find and click on "Options", Scroll down and select "Date/Time", check and confirm that the "Time Zone" and "Time" are set correctly.

2) If you are currently running BES with Exchange Server - Log into your OWA (Outlook Web Access) and click on "Options", check the "Time Zone"

Hope this helps.
