Default Calendar not showing on front

Please Login to Remove!

The calendar events that used to show up on the front screen no longer appear as upcoming events, I have to go into the Calendar to see whats coming up. I think it started doing this after an OS update. Anyone else have this problem?

You need to change your theme to a today or today plus theme.

And welcome to the forums.

Thanks for the welcome!

It's always been BB Dimension Today (Active) selected... I did a couple updates several months ago and thats when it disappeared.. Changing Themes changes to each of them, but none bring back the Calendar events..

Ok, just did latest ESM OS update 4.5.something-or-other(was the top one listed) and it's still not back :(

Check your calendar events, see which "calendar" they are really with.

Options -> Advanced Options -> Default Services, the CICAL entry is the calendar that will be displayed in the Today theme.

You Calendar events must below the email address set in Default Services, sometimes they may below to a "Device Default" or FaceBook calendar.

Default Calendar not showing on front

I'm having the same problem -- I was trying to get my calendar to stop showing facebook entries - when syncing to outlook it would show up duplicate appointments one facebook and the other ??? -- someone told me how to delete facebook calendar by going to advanced options ---> service book ---> delete facebook calendar. Then going to advanced options ---> default services and make sure its on the calendar I want.......

Well that worked.. BUT then I kept getting more calendars. I had 3 email addresses and it was showing ALL of them under "show all" - so I thought I would be a genious and delete all but my blackberry email (the @tmo.blackberry.net).

So NOW after resyncing - it shows "DEVICE CALENDAR" AND "tmo.blackberry.net calendar" - and it duplicates appointments for both of those calendars - AND it has deleted the calendar events showing on the front screen under the theme "BB Dimension Today".

I made a backup copy BEFORE I deleted all this crap - should I just restore and start over?

I can't find where you see what calendar the "Today" theme is using to change it???

Thanks!!

I think my above post answered most of your questions..

If all you calendar events are in Outlook..
1. Options -> Advanced Options -> Default Services, set the CICAL to the email you want.

2. Going into desktop manager -> backup restore -> advanced -> delete your calendar all database. THIS WILL DELETE ALL YOUR CALENDAR EVENTS ON YOUR BLACKBERRY.

3. Sync with Outlook.

Now all you calendar events will be in the CICAL entry you want. And they will show up in the Today+ Calendar on the home screen. (battery pull might be required)
