Does this exist for the BB? My kid's 8830 died a few months back and he got tired of waiting for the Tour 2, so he burnt his upgrade on the Motorola Droid. Its' version of google maps includes turn-by-turn navigation and voice activated address searches.

Is such an app available for my Tour?

You're referring to Google Navigation, which is different from Google Maps.
Google Navigation isn't available for the BlackBerry.

For your Tour, you can buy Telenav, Garmin or subscribe to VZ Navigator. (There are others, but those are some of the "bigger" titles.)

It just plain sucks that I have to pay for an app that the kid gets on the Droid for free.

Understandable considering Android is a google OS, but c'mon, throw us a bone here.
