Default Business Card Reader for Tour OS 5.0

Please Login to Remove!

I do a ton of trade shows and collect a lot of business cards. Sitting at my laptop entering 80 business cards into my outlook is no fun. Anyone know of a good business card reader that I can download that will automatically do this for me. I am using a Tour w/OS 5.0. Thanks for the help!!!!!

Might want to check out this review/article of a business card reader app. Don't have any personal experience with this product, or any other business card readers (if there even are any). Business Card Reader for BlackBerry Smartphones | CrackBerry.com

I bought this yesterday as I find myself in the same predicament as yourself. It works, but you have to make sure you're doing everything right, like proper lighting, flat surface, steady hands for it to work properly. I'm satisfied otherwise.

Default CardScan

We use CardScan at my work. It's a small portable device that syncs with Outlook. It's about 90%+ accurate, easy to use and fairly quick.

It takes less than half a min to scan in a card and review/edit it for accuracy. 100 cards should take about 15 - 30 min. A nice feature is you can scan all 100 cards now and review/edit them at a later time (on the plane/train/automobile). It's actually fun scanning in the cards although that might wear off after a while.

If you have a large number of cards to scan on a regular basis, I'd use CardScan or a similar device. It'll save you time in the long run.
