Default Disappearing Received Text Messages

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All,

Thank you in advance for your help. I recently moved from a T-Mo Curve to a Sprint 9650 and I really like it, but I'm getting used to some differences between phones, carriers, and OSs.

I have text messaging set to Bubbles and it seems the replies I receive from the person I'm tecting with disappear at some point. I know they're there initially because I can read their replies but, when I go back to the conversation later, only the messages I sent appear.

Anyone have any ideas what's going on and how to fix it?

Must common cause of disappearing messages is low file free, check Options ->Status and check the file free.

I find it hard to believe you filled up the device memory, but hey it's possible.

Application Memory shows: I have 300 MB free memory.

Media Card free space: 1.8 GB

I've only had this for a week so I don't understand why I'd have a memory issue.

I also have something called Memory Cleaner, which I've used a couple times on this phone already.

Thanks

I would suspect is the MemoryCleaner app as this is its intent, to regain all available memory possible. Check the options/settings within that program.

That is incorrect. The Memory Cleaner to remove sensitive information from the active RAM, so if the device was stolen and taken apart information could not recovered. Not to clear out SMS/Email/Data.

By sensitive information I am referring to encryption keys and so forth.
