The more I read about OS 6 the more I believe that touchscreen devices are the future for RIM. I'm a physical keyboard type of guy, but I'm reconsidering this stance. After demo-ing the HTC Evo, which is freakin' huge, I'm thinking I *might* be able to get used to the touchscreen. On the right device. What really had me HATING on touchscreens was the iPhone. Then I tried the Storm 1 and that reinforced my dislike of "tap and pray" keypads.
What keeps me looking at touchscreen devices is the monstrous screens they sport. Especially that HTC Evo! 4.3" of real estate! Ideally they would slap the BB operating system into that chassis and sell those. Pie in the sky, I know, but in any event it appears that the best features of OS 6 are going to be most useful on touchscreen devices.
Can you use the twitter integration option too, even if you don't have a BB Data plan (I mean one with a BIS)? Currently I use on my curve 8520 UberTwitter for twitter, which works without a BIS.
