Now that I posted here, I'm starting to experience the double typing issue as well, though fairly rare.

Mine got worse. I'm trying to get a replacement phone... Since I've tried three different OS versions now with the same result.

Mine's stable, and it happens infrequently - but it does happen and from time to time, will delete more messages than I'd like, because it happens in the message window during a message deletion as well using the backspace key...nice feature.

I've got a replacement device now. We'll see how this works out.
