Default 7105T Microphone Issue

Please Login to Remove!

I am constantly getting complaints from friends & family that my phone sounds like i'm constantly in a wind tunnel.

now i am in my car quite a bit and i know it's not the quietest thing(2003 Civic), but i'm wondering if my microphone is set for too strong and it's picking up too much or its just super shitty.

i have browsed through my manual but i don't see a microphone intensity sheet. what do you guys think?

Default Agreed

There is definitely a problem. Everyone I speak to with the handheld says that there is static everytime I speak. If you are using a blutooth earpiece than the earpiece works great. However, there are times when I just want to use the handheld. Why in the world has it taken this long to fix this problem. 7100 and 7105 seem to have the exact same issues. No upgrade except for brighter display, raised keys and color of phone. Real downer after there was so much hype about the 7105.

I upgraded to the hong kong 4.1 os on my 7105t and noticed that my voice doesn't distort nearly as bad as it used to under 4.0x. in fact, now when i talk to someone that is on a land line, they don't hear the distortion at all, some mobile users still hear it, though; but not bad enought to ruin the conversation. much improved.

I've noticed the same thing with the 4.1 os. It doesn;t pick up all the background noises like 4.0.2 did. Also when using the bluetooth, you won't hear the humming when your not on a call when you press the back button.
