Default Playbook Not Recognized by Device Manager

Please Login to Remove!

My laptop was upgraded to Windows 7 from XP. BP was working fine with Desktop Manager syncing video to PB, etc. Company upgraded laptop to Windows 7, it was a clean image install. I reloaded Desktop Manager, but now
my PB is not recognized by DM? Any suggestions?

Uninstalled Desktop Manager completely from laptop. Re-installed it again still does not recognize the Playbook. Desktop Manager indicates-Unknown Device. When I open Device Manager;
under Connected Device Tab it shows; Device Blackberry {0}.
Under About Tab:
Blackberry Device Manager 6.0.0.30
BBDevMgr 4.2.0.12
Rim USB Driver 4.2.0.12
Playbook RNDIS Driver Interface 1.0.0.16

Are you running Windows as an Admin or with Admin rights?

Disable User Account Control by completing one of the following tasks

For Windows 7, complete the following steps:

1. From the Start menu, click Control Panel.

2. Click User Accounts and Family Safety.

3. Click User Accounts.

4. Click Change User Account Control Settings.

5. Move the slider to the bottom.

6. Restart the computer.

The driver for the "RIM Network Device" may need to be re-installed.

On the computer, navigate to Windows Device Manager.

With the BlackBerry PlayBook connected to the computer via the USB cable, expand Network Adaptors.
Right click on Research In Motion Network Device.
Choose Uninstall.
Once Research In Motion Network Device has been uninstalled, disconnect the BlackBerry PlayBook from the USB cable.
Reconnect the BlackBerry PlayBook to the USB cable.

Wait for Windows to install the driver. Research In Motion Network Device will appear again in Device Manager.
Open BlackBerry Desktop Software to see if the BlackBerry PlayBook is now detected.
