We have a BES 5.0.3 MR4 setup, and today I created a HA server in order to do a knife edge cutover to replace the ageing server. All went fine, but on the newly built server when I go into the BAS all the dates are in US time format - MM/DD/YYYY not DD/MM/YYYY. The server is 2008 R2 and all the languages, system locales etc are set up as UK English, United Kingdom and all other apps display the date 'correctly'.

Having searched these forums and the internet I can't find anything related. Has anyone come up against this before?

As far as I can see, this can only be changed by changing the language at login. So if I select "Change language" at the login screen and set it to German, for example, the date and time format will be the German one. (dd.mm.yy)

Unfortunately, in the language selection screen you can only choose "English (United States)", so you probably can't solve your problem. You can also play with the browser language settings but that didn't really help when I tried.

Thanks! I never tried that - but you are right... so it's not a config thing just a language front end that doesn't exist for UK english!
