hello guys,
i have a blackberry curve 8520 and i'd like to ask you if you know how to create more level notifications at email filters.
at this moment i have only "level 1 notification"
what this means ?
i can put a filter on email subject so if subject is "hello" to set "level 1 notification" (personalized ringtone - notification)
and i want to create more levels. if subjet is "good morning" to be able to set "level 2 notification" or something like this.
is this possible?

To my knowledge there is no other levels. Level 1 is the only (higher level/more important) available above normal level.

I think you need a third party app. I use Message Alerts for this purpose - I've written about it elsewhere, but in brief it let's you create filters to customize alerts on contacts, subjects, time of day, etc.

it is kind of expensive for me so i get back to first question.. maybe someone knows how is possible add more level notifications.

It wasn't cheap, but it was only one time.

I bought mine 6 or 7 years ago. It's been on several BBs, first on some ancient B&W BB which my company insisted I have on 24x7. For my sanity I had to almost, but not quite, completely silence it at night. One or two emergency messages had to be able to wake me up at need, though (rare tech support messages sent to an after-hours email address, the server room calling for help when the AC when kablooey, etc). I could ignore the rest.

Lord, I don't miss being on call!

I've never had any trouble moving the license (or the filters - they export en masse) to whatever my next BB has been, currently my storm2.
