Default Sending SRP Id to a web server.

Please Login to Remove!

Hi Guys,
I am developing a web application that should be accessed only by Blackberry users, so to identify whether the request has come from a blackberry device I need the SRP Id of the device in my servlet. I want to ask is there any way in which the Id can be sent from the device. How can I send the device ID from the device in the http header, it would be very helpful.

Regards
Hitesh.

Default Re: Sending SRP Id to a web server.

The BB Model number and the OS level is already stored in the "User-Agent" header if you are using the BB browser to access the site.

The data looks something like this:

"Blackberry9700/5.0.0.328 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.0"
