hello guys, am new to this fourm,and needed help with the BB 9800. i am in spain and just bought this handset secondhand.it was locked to the network Orange here in spain, the seller before giving it to me got it unlocked.but it doesnt not work with any other network except Orange.have tried (Vodafone,Movistar) also another t-mobile sim from germany... all give me the insert sim card(SOS) error. have checked in the options (MEPD)and all the options are disactivated, so looks like its unlocked correctly... and when i use it with a Orange sim(Original carrier) it works perfect. can any1 pls. help to get it working with other carriers....

Have you tried making a call with the Orange SIM inserted? It may connect to the network but not be able to make/receive calls if the IMEI has been blocked.
