I bought a Bold 9780 and am very satisfied with it.
However, I am also fond of my old Storm and would like to keep using it, on and off. The question is : can I use both on the SAME SIM card, obviously alternating from one to the other ? My question is centered on email (BIS) reception. When I put the card into the Storm, it asks me to setup the email system. If I do so, will I still be able to receive emails on the Bold, without doing anything or will I be asked to set it up again ? Same for BBM ?

BIS is tied to the device... via the device's unique PIN. It's not tied to the SIM card.
Each time you switch devices, you will need to migrate your BIS account to the new handheld.
It can't be active on to handhelds at the same time.

BBM will also need to recognize your new PIN and your contacts will need to be notified that you have a new handheld.
