Default calling on the BB 7510 super tech

i had a friend put my BB 7510 on to his server at the job which is licensed to add up to 20 BB. now i had no service at first when get my BB, just added my i730 sims and he was going to add the browser which was a quick thing. the way it was going to work, is that my BB with his server and my sims would control all phone action. where we are lost is that his BB is hooked up the same way but it's a t-mobile and i have a nextel. we tried the browser at the same time and the t-mobile and the nextel said " unable to connect to selected mobile data service, please try again later" is it that the server is setup for t-mobile only or are my setting on the berry wrong ???? need all the help i can get. i have not link it to my computer after he places the browser on it. didn't want to mess with it, with out knowing the right information. also how do you get the back light to stay on longer.

nope, here is more information about the server.
connected to a B.E.S server
Blackberry Enterprise Server
and Exchange 5.5
firewall, and the ports are open for it.
maybe this will help

It's easy - call Nextel and have them add the BlackBerry Data Service to your account. Around $45/month. Then the BlackBerry will work!

Presto!

BES Server doesn't care about the device. You need a BB data plan as Treo 600 said
