In college and use a blackberry? Chime in.

Just curious to see how many blackberry users here are college students. Post if your blackberry is personal or work, and which blackberry device you use. I have a 7250 - personal use.

Wirelessly posted (Blackberry 8700r: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/107)
My BB is for personal and work, I pay for it though, and it isn't needed for my job. My gf's in college and uses a 7290 that I gave her. I use a 8700. I sell Blackberries, and have sold a couple to college kids, great for keeping track of assignments, classes, parties, etc.

Use mine for scheduling, email on the go, especially for study groups it comes in handy. Looking into a bluetooth keyboard for taking notes in class. Right now I use it to get me through the really boring classes.

I am in college, I am hoping to use it to help me get through my senior year, my grad school and my boring classes ;)
I will be also using it for work (I am a mortgage broker's assistant/processor & I maintain websites online for real estate agents). So I am going to try to figure out the perfect way to have my blackberry work for both my schooling (keeping track of homework, tasks, group projects and such) and work.

I'm in college, about to graduate though. I have an 8700 for personal use. I use T-mo and it's a heckuva lot cheaper than Cingular.
I wish I could get enterprise sync, but that costs an extra 40 or 50 in total (30+ to the servers, 10+ to T-mo use BES)

I study medicine. My 8700 offers at my fingertips information that I would have to go to the library to search for. The medical software makes homework, study groups and classes so much less difficult. Also, I use my BB (with hosted BES from Exchange My Mail) to stay in touch with clients, artists, partners, and other associates that often require immediate attention. The mobility factor lowers my overhead and allows me to work from anywhere. I'd truly be lost without this thing...

Still a student but work alot also, my 7105 gets both done. Perfect for the radio Station work that i do, plus Wonderful to browse ebay while listening to a lecture over AUdio conversion through fm transmitters that pushes 100000 watts.....

I go to Farmingdale State and currently use an 8700c.
Used to have a 7520. I'm on it all the time during class. All of my friends know me as "that kid with the blackberry".

For all of you college BB users, I am studying Communication Disabilities. I plan on working with people who use communication devices such as DynaVox and others. I want to know how I can promote BB into this population once I begin working. I have seen a BlackBerry 950 interfaced with a device but want to know what the newer models can offer besides TTY, email, messaging, web browsing, etc.

My company gave me my 7520 in October of last year, so I use it for work and personal use. I'll be going back to college for a master's degree in summer/fall, and I'll continue to use the BlackBerry there, to juggle between work/college. Oh God that won't be easy.
