Unhappy Long Boot Up Time

Please Login to Remove!

Whenever my Blackberry 7520 needs to reboot, e.g. after adding or deleting a program, it takes at least 30 minutes to reboot. Is there anything I can do / clean up to speed this up? Why does it take so long???

30 minutes!?!?!?

That cant be right. My 7250 takes 3-4 minutes which I think is rediculous.

Have you upgraded the OS?

Yes, 30+ minutes. I have 2500+ contacts and 600+ tasks. The only thing I can think it is reindexing the system when it boots or I have some data corruption going on, hence my plea for HELP!!!

Can you free up some memory? (delete some messages, apps, pictures, etc?)

I think a lot of the older devices have problems with the latest OS because there is not enough memory.

If that still doesn't work, I would use Javaloader to wipe the device and do a "clean" install.

Ok, I cleaned up by Blackberry 7520 and it boots really fast, under 3 minutes. Now I get No System Software Installed when I try the appliation loader. Any advice? Please see new thread below ...
