Does anyone know if the new 4.1 OS offer any file transfer facility between your BB and the notebook. I like to take down quick notes but can't get it transferred to a notebook or printer in a jiffy. Would be a cool feature if it's in.
Cheers

All BlackBerrys offer the ability to sync up and trasfer notes between your BB (Memopad) and Outlook (Notes). You can't "transfer" files without third party software.

How long does a upgrade take on a BB 7290. If anything goes wrong with the BB 7290 upgrading from 4.0 to 4.1, can I do reverse (a downgrade) to get back to what it was.

time varies, but my experience is that it isn't longer than 30 minutes or so. and yes, you can downgrade, there are detailed instructions on this forum.

Got my BB 7290 running on 4.1 OS. Still struggling to get the Bluetooth sync going with my desktop. Device manager fails to pickup the BB. I can pair with my desktop BT as an audio gateway but not with the desktop device manager.

Could someone give me a helping hand on this matter.

Thanks in advance.

I have OS Ver 4.1 running fine on my blackberry 7290. Bluetooth issue was sorted after I upgraded the desktop software.

I created a theme using the 8700 Icons. It runs fine and don't feel any slowness. Let me know if you want to try it out if it's a 7290 device.

Cheers
