Has anyone else had the following 2 problems with Google Talk?

1) Google Talk randomly disconnects
2) I no longer get the notification icon at the top of the screen where I get notifications for text messages, IMs, emails, etc.

Could these be because it's still in Beta or has it finally been released fully?

Im on a 7130e with Verizon. I randomly get logged off of the system, and at times I have problems logging back in. Most of the time it appears I'm online though.

As far as notifications not appearing. I don't know too many people with google chat,so I don't chat too much on it, but so far I have not encountered that issue.

Thanks for letting me know that I'm not the only one being randomly booted. I have sometimes had to try several times (like this morning) before successfully logging back on. I'll try to have to find out why I'm not getting the notification icons.

I also get the problem that when I go to sign on after I have been kicked off, I get a service book error and it will not let me sign back on at that moment.

I managed to solve the mystery of the missing notification icon. I upgraded my OS to Cable and Wireless OS 4.1 and I am now getting my notification icons.

I went to delete google talk from my 7730 by going to applications>google talk> delete, and the icon and program are still installed, but do not show up in applications anymore. Any ideas?
