Default Updated Exchange 2003 to SP2

Please Login to Remove!

I have updated Exchange 2003 to SP2 in many different environment, just never this one where there has been a BES server. I am wondering if there is anything I should watch for when apply SP2 to a BES 4.0.4 server network?

I know I have to update the ESM on BES as well.

Thanks
Andrew

We did that excercise about 4 weeks ago on 9 Servers and didn't have a problem.

You are going to need to insure that the appropriate Hotfixes are installed.

That would actually be the combination you want to have, Exchange 2003 SP2 running with no less then BES 4.0 SP4.

I have installed 4.0.4 on exchange 2003 with sp2 under windows 2003 r2. it works fine....

im using 8700g hh's..and wireless provisioned them...

The only thing you need here is to follow what rim recommends to check/configure on your bes service account on mailbox permissions / information storage...send as..

That way..you will run smoothly.....
