Well I got the case today and its very nice. You can see and feel the quality now I know its not BB, but this thread was the deciding factor for getting one and I would like to share. The case is a little bulkier than the stock case that it came with, but I have a feeling the nutshell case needs to be broken in.
If anybody would like pics of the nutsheel with a ppc 6700 let me know. I'll be checking this thread every couple of days. Or if you want me to go away let me know............ ;)P

I ordered my "nut shell" case for my VZW 7130e on 5-26-06 and just received it today. It is an open top pouch in tan brown with a clip. THIS THING IS THE BEST CASE!! Soft leather, perfect snug fit and stays close to the hip. Anyone thinking of ordering a case from them should, you will not be dissappointed. I am probably going to order a black one for business. On a side note I told them I was not a big fan of white stitching and they matched it up with a stitch color that goes great with this tan brown.

After a few weeks of use I noticed that the sleeper function for the7130e is not lined up right. The magnet is too close to the bottom of the case and you have to jam the BB into the case and then it still pops back up. I have contacted them to see if they can fix this issue by moving the magnet up closer to the clip. I am still waiting for a response. I hope they can help me out with this issue so I can order another case!

Just a reply to my review on my nutshell case. They fixed the problem and I bought another case (black). These people really follow up on your requests/concerns. A big thank you!!

I have an 8700c. Has anyone purchased an open top pouch belt case from Nutshell? I would like to know if the fit is too tight. If so, should I order a different model such as 8700t/g/r ? Thank you.

Exciter,

I have one in the brown croc skin. Been using for close to a year and it is perfect. I have the metal belt clip. Very slim.

I also have a fortte which I like as well-

The only two companies I look to for phone cases.

Hope this helps.

Cool. Is the inside nice & soft? Any scratches from sliding your BB in & out, off & on for the past year? Thank you very much mjustice.

I received this case within the past week.
I love it, BUT, it only sleeps when the screen is facing the belt clip.
I emailed tuffasnuts, and they replied saying that is how it was designed.

????

This is contrary to the review.
lgreenberg: HELP!!

Update:
I went to the Tuffasnuts website to see if it said anything about the magnet and which ways you can holster the BB, but it doesn't actually say you can use it either way.

So, there you have it!

I still like it and am not complaining.
I just would have liked to holster it the other way for more protection when I have it in my pants pocket with the clip facing out.
