Default Outlook Invitations

When I receive and accept an Outlook invite on my BB, I get a red X and cannot accept the invitation. The appointment ends up on my device, but not on my desktop. Any ideas?

Sounds like your BB and Outlook are not in snyc. Use Desktop Manager, connect your Bb with a USB cable. go syncroization, select with PIM, sync now.

Are you sure he shouldn't try to Disable MDS Proxy?

Sorry - back to this thread..

Are you using BES, and if so do you know what version? 3.6 or 4.0 or higher. It sounds like Wireless Calendar Sync is not working properly.

Go into Calendar, click the wheel and select Options
See if Wireless Reconcile is enabled; I would disable it and then re-enable it. You should be able to accept/reject messages wirelessly using 4.1.

I haven't had an issue with accepting appointments - which only means I haven't tried to accept an appointment on my BB...

However I am having a problem with calendar updates on the BB not making it back my desktop.

Using BES as well.

Been in contact with cingular/rim for the last week. They said we needed to make sure exchange service packs, dll file etc were in sync with the BES.

We did that...still didn't work...responded to Rim..haven't heard a word since.

It was interesing ..when "WE" needed to do something emails were flowing like crazy...then minute we said "it didn't work"...they seems to have fallen off the face of the earth.

The odd thing...it was working..
