Default How is 7130 with Blutooth?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, I've a 7100 at the moment, love it except for the Bluetooth implementation. Its a disaster.
Sometimes it won't pair; If it does, then the 7100 crashes and reboots after maybe 10 mins.
If it looks like its working, when I make a call or a call comes in, the audio still comes out of the 7100 not out of the Bluetooth unit, even though the Bluetooth unit thinks its handling the call.
If it all works at all the audio quality is horrible.

The Bluetooth device is a Nokia 616 car kit. I've tried it with other non-nokia phones and it works fine. It works best with Nokia phones of course cos then it supports remote-SIM mode, but it would be too much to ask for a BB (or any other make I guess) to support that.

I need to replace my BB as its physically worn out, but is the 7130 any better in this respect?

Thanks.

Andy.

I have a 7130e also with a Plantronics 510. Best bluetooth connection I have had! Not a disconnect yet.

Anyone tried one with a Nokia Bluetooth car kit? Does it work? Can the car kit get to the BB's contacts list to dial numbers?

I have a 2005 acura Tl and it pairs up fine. Problem is, every now and then... like every other day it does this thing that pisses me off. The phone pairs up but every now and then it disconnects and reconnects on it's own. Never crashed though. I dont know if I'm the only one having this problem tho.

My 7130e combined with the Jabra JX10 works well. No issues. I like the BT so much I am buying a Jabra SP500 speaker phone for my home office as I find the built-in speakerphone to be lacking somewhat.

Works like a charm. DO NOT, however, purchase the Cardo Scala BT headset. It is a piece of junk.

I'm using my 7130e with a Motorola HS850 and it works beautifully.

7130e + Plantronics 510 = fantastic pair. Never get disconnect. There are others I've tried - the only one I'd emphatically say to avoid is the Jabra JX10. It's an overpriced, overmarketed POC. Unless you like to sound like something from Star Wars

I've paired my 7130e with both the Jabra JX10 and the TomTom GO 910. It works great with both. The address book downloaded nicely to the TomTom. I can't speak for the GO 510, as I have never used that model.
