How do I connect to the internet on my laptop using my 7100i? I know Cingular offers software for their blackberrys...but I can't seem to figure out how to utilize my 7100i to surf the net on my laptop. Thanks!

Default Modem Use

Click on this link and try it:

I've used it with my 7100t, and it works well. Can't say for your phone model, but it's worth a try.

Good luck!

I tired it once on my i860 using circuit data... Never again! iDEN is very slow when compared to other technologies.

I haven't tried it, but I've read that MobiShark (http://www.mobishark.com/) will work. I think it will be very painful even if you get it to work. They have a free trial so you can give it a shot for free.

Circuit Data is dial up. iDEN also supports Packet Data which has a maximum sped of 56K. Either way very slow compared to EVDO.
