Default Windows Event Log errors

Please Login to Remove!

I'm currently looking after a 20 user BES pilot that is now running on BES 4.1. Users have migrated from a 4.0 server over the course of a few weeks.

Looking at the Windows Event log, 3 of the 20 users are generating a significant number of events to be recorded.

The Event ID messages are:

20001 (12,888 messages since 7th August)
20301 (19,615 messages since 7th August)
20004 (8,958 messages since 7th August)
20265 (2,266 messages since 7th August)
20033 (620 messages since 7th August)
20171 (617 messages since 7th August)
20197 (620 messages since 7th August)
20274 (687 messages since 7th August)
20275 (606 messages since 7th August)

For each of the above reference numbers, there are a number of error texts that correspond.

As above, all these events are being triggered by just 3 of 20 users. 2 are on the same Exchange server but the other 1 user is on the same Exchange server as 11 other participants in the BB pilot.

Can anyone shed any light on why these messages would be triggered for just 3 of the 20 users and why so many messages are created in just a short period of time?

Any ideas how to resolve?

Thanks,

Chris

Event IDs are generally useless please post the actual error message.

Without seeing them I'll propose that these users were on another BES and were never wipe before adding them to this BES. or they are running pre 4.0 Handheld code

Hi,

I've had to wipe all the devices before adding them to the new BES as we moved from a 4.0 BES to a 4.1 and these couldn't be added without a wipe as the security policy is rejected.

All of these users have been wiped and restored in the same way and 2 of them were in the last 3 to be tranferred over (last Fri).

All of the 7205 devices are running 4.1.xx OS.

Will post more detail on the messages when I'm back in the office in an hour or so.

Cheers,

Chris
