A .bmp from a camera phone... hmmm something smells fishy to me

The camera takes it as a BMP? He should have convert it to JPG.

If it does take it as a JPG than why did he convert to BMP?

I didnt do anything to the image. What i think happend is. I emailed the image to myself then went to computer and saved it from thier and it was a .bmp. I did notice that as well and found that weird, maybe its my host provider?

I just ran it through photoshop. Colors cleaned up nicely. Still a bit fuzzy but ok for getting the idea.

I think this shows it will take acceptable daylight photos. What about when the light isn't so good? We will see.

3.75MB is not accurate...no way not sure how you saved it but they are usually 250k-400k mac for full res on the 8100

thats really weird!

I dont know what i did. just emailed it and saved in in my documents...

EDIT: now im curiouse like WTF! im going to turn on my computer with bluetooth. bluetooth the file over and email it to someone. PLEASE PM ME A EMAIL ADDRESS

Can someone tell me how to shut off the noise it makes when taking a picture? Did blackberry really not think that people would not want to shut this off?!?!?
