Default 8703 Internet Speed Tests?

Please Login to Remove!

Anyone running these on their 8703 yet? my 7130e is running at about 500 kb/sec here in Miami with a good signal per dslreports

In that sense, there will always be a debate. Just as there was EDGE VS. EVDO. Everyones got an opinion, just like.....um nevermind

Opinions - what are those?

Here's mine - on the BB unit itself, due to latency, it doesn't matter EVDO or Edge.

Tethering - no comparison EVDO kicks butt right now. Until HSDPA the GSM folks have a barely useable tool on Edge to grab an email or do light surfing.

When using dslreports I always get "unstable/too fast a result choose larger file" and I am using the largest (1MB) for the test.

Use the regular speed test instead of mobile ones.

Yeah I am on the fence with this one. If the browsing is much improved I will probably get one since I will mainly use it web and email.
