Am I missing something or are hyperlinks to the web from inside of an email not working? I know that my 8700c does this. Is it a setting I'm missing? Thanks...

Same...also phone numbers on berry411 cannot be called. you have to copy and paste it into the phone field or the browser...very strange

it is odd. i sent few URLs to my google mail, and I could open the link in the email and it brings to a browser.

Interesting. I just sent an email with a hyperlink and was able to access it within the email. Also properly formatted tel numbers work by highlighting the number and pressing the Send key.

Hmmm... It gets even stranger. I send myself an email and the url and phone numbers show hyperlinks that work. I receive the same email and the hyperlinks are stripped out. My phone number hyperlinks work with BB 411 though.

I am using the webclient and upgraded to the new version when I went to the 8703. I can't imagine there are different firmware versions already. Somethings up. It doesn't make sense that some have and other's don't have hyperlinks.

Problem solved. I resent the service books and did a warm reset. Hyperlinks now appear. Still odd, but I won't argue with success.

berry 411 as well as hyperlinks work for me on 8703e..

yup, berry411 won't dial numbers directly, I have to click the link then it loads a page and then it dials the number...Normally I can just click the trackwheel and hit "CALL XXX-444-XXXX"

Can you resend service books from the device? If not, how do i proceed?

You can resend the service book from your BIS account for each email address configured.

I'm on a BES.

The issue was that the country code was set to unknown and this setting travels with a user from device to device (if backed up or on a BES) it has been that way on my last 3 devices. Country code set to +1 and it fixed the issue.
