Smile feature code for adding Broadband Access onto 8703E

Please Login to Remove!

Would anyone know what the feature code for adding Broadband Access to use VZAccess Manager as a modem on a 8703E is?

The rep from Verizon didn’t know what I was talking about.

Thanks in Advance.

Not sure if you know this, but this is the 8800 section. Try asking for help in the 8700 section.

I don't know about the code, but the feature description should say: BBA Connect $15...given that you have the Unlimited Data plan...Just call CS and they'll know what to put on ...

Easy answer... ask for a new REP.. that one is an idiot but BES4.0admin has the right thing above listed.

From what my VZW rep has told me in the past - when I tried to use feature codes that people had posted online - the feature codes are market dependant, and they have no way of cross-referencing a feature code from one market to find the proper code for yours.

correct....It's pretty stupid...You'd think everything would be UNIVERSAL (at least within each individual carrier)

Just ask for the $15 High Speed Internet access feature. I ordered it about 3 weeks ago and didn't have a problem.

One of the BB tech support guys at Verizon told me to make sure that I got a voice/data bundle, which eliminates the $15 add'l monthly fee. For example, there's a $105/mo plan for 1350 voice minutes and unlimited data that apparently includes the tethering option.

Since I'm currently paying $70/mo for 900 minutes voice-only on my soon-to-be-retired Moto E815, that means I get an extra 450 minutes, tethering and unlimited data for only $35 more; $10 less just adding the unlimited data alone. A la carte, this would be $80 for America's Choice II w/1350 minutes, $45 for Unlimited Data, and $15 for tethering . . . or $140/mo!

I've gotten this same information from two VZW reps so far, but I'll find out for sure tomorrow when my 8703e arrives

You were given incorrect info. The core chioce voice and data bundle is actually $109.99 w/ 1350 min and does NOT include tethering. The BBA option is $15 more.

Yeah, as I subsequently found out. Funny thing is, I was given that incorrect information by two separate data services support reps. The CS person that I talked to when I switched to the bundled unlimited data/1350 minute plan thought I was nuts.

I even had the ticket number for the 2nd call where I was told that the BBA feature was included in the bundle price, but it fell on deaf ears . . .

Being $5 off on the bundle price was entirely my fault, though
