Default how to delete carrier banner 8700c

Please Login to Remove!

I searched, then searched some more. How the hell do change the carrier banner on the home page/screen if a (Cingular) 8700c?

I always search first, the problem is knowing what key words to use as the criteria.....

Isn't that actually determined by the network that you're connected to? I know some carriers do stick a banner with their name on their own theme but I thought that Cingular's just displayed the network (as I recall seeing other carrier names there when I was in Europe).

If that's the case, I guess you could pull the SIM... :P

You will see the carrier's name where the signal is on the homescreen but you can't change the startup "splash" screen with the original carrier's logo no matter what OS you're using.
