Cool. All great ideas! I especially like the sports team idea! That'd be awesome.

"Random thought: Is there such thing as a 24hr analog clock? I'll have to look into that..."

of course. not just wall clocks. Even watches like the Breitling Cosmonaute or Glycine Airman

Great ideas so far! I particularly like the idea to display upcoming appointments. It would also be great if you could replicate the functionality of an application like ThemeMaster, that enables you to easily change skins or automatically rotate through skins that are stored on the device.

I think what you have listed is good. I have one more suggestion that many of is have tried to find before. A lot of us are using voice over IP phones and the voicemail messages come into your inbox in Outlook as a wav file. We need a way to listen to wav files on BB. If you search on this topic there has been huge request for this capability.

Default ETA??

So now we're all drooling over this thing. Any estimates on when you might have something to test?

No pressure, I understand the priority of pro-bono projects, just wondering...

George:

2 questions.....

1. Have you started development?
2. When do you expect to have a beta version out for testing?

The link below is from the TodayPlus Application for the PPC...

Hey, I like all the suggestions. Good luck! I think this would be an awesome thing to have on my 7100t, especially if there is a way to get the weather part to work correctly.

Is there any point to this one anymore? Pocket Day isn't free, but people are going ga-ga over that one. And BBToday, which is still free has made quite a few improvements in its latest releases.

I think we would would all like and benefit from is a customized ringing pattern / tones that we can assign to particular users or groups, all based upon the address book entries.

This has been touched on as a desired product in other threads here and many people have commented that it is needed.

Just my $0.02

Thanks,

Dave

has anyone bothered to look at the API & javadocs to know if the hooks even exist for this functionality? i mean, i've seen a few dozen people write to express a desire for such a beast... but not a sniff as to whether or not it's even remotely possible, according to the available docs...

anyone? anyone? bueller?
