Default Forward personal email to Blackberry - How?

Please Login to Remove!

Hey

I just picked up the Blackberry Pearl on Thursday for business/personal use and was wondering how I redirect my personal email account to my Blackberry?

Can this be turned on/off at my command?

Thanks a lot.....

Did you get a manual with your Pearl?

Go to your carrier's website, look for support, Blackberry Internet Service, Setup Email account. You will need your e-mail username and password. The system should send along the service books which activate the e-mail service, but if there is a problem, service books can be sent from that site as well.

You need to create an account. The button (on my screen) is below the login.

You should be able to make an account then have it check your personal mail account and forward the emails to the 'berry.

Yah thats the problem, I am creating an account, put in the PIN and IMEI and then it asks for a username and password, well it doesnt want to accept ANY password I try and use for my password. Nothing.

Will have to try and register using a Windows machine shortly.

When I first tried to register my BB through Cingular's BIS I had a similar problem. I was able to fix the problem by rebooting my BB. It had been stuck on GSM and couldn't be found on the network.

This is complaining about the physical password I am providing for my web based account, nothing to do with the BB itself unfortunately.

Does anyone know of a way to NOT have your personal email (via BIS) come into your Messages area and have that just be reserved for corporate exchange email coming from your BES? I can't handle my two personal email accounts coming into that area mixed with my main corporate email.

I know I have the icons to be able to just see the different accounts which is nice but I want them to just stay in that area.

It's not possible. Your closest option is to create a search (that pulls only mail from the BES inbox) and to bind it to a hotkey combination. Ther are definitely instructions in these forums.

As for email redirecting options, check out blackberryfaq.com
