I am the oldest person on this site - 64! And just gotto level 30 scoring 15,500 points on an 8710. I will make level 34 by end of Christmas holidays.

FINALLY!

Just had a great run and completed the dang thing after way too many hours of play. Level 39 (Level 5 second go-around) with a measely 18,085 points. Prior best was level 25 with 13,000 or so.

But at least now I'm at peace... ;)

I gave my old Blackberry to my girlfriend and she found this game on it call Brickbreaker, now she is brickbearker. After one week she hit 8990 points, I didnt think anything of it, but when i tried I was lucky to get 3000 points, now that I have my Pearl it seems pretty easy.

I now see that there are trick or gimicks one can do to get an edge over the game. Look out Brickers........

Also on my Pearl when i hit a high score is asks if i would like to send high score? When I do it tells me i am like 61,000 ranked. Where do i go to find these scores and who is number one?

UGH! I hate this game! My current score is 1,100,000 and I have 301 lives but noticed I do not have the option to "send high score" so even if I get the high score I won't be able to post! Any ideas? Will it send automatically if I beat the high score and lose all my lives?

My experience matches up with the "once you get around twice" comments others have made. Before the game I'm presently playing, my high score was 29785 and I had come close to going around twice several times. Then one day, I made it around twice (yippee) and found the third time through to be nothing new -- bricks march down quick, but I actually prefer that. Then I went around for the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th.... and on and on. Current score is 1149405.

About 10000 points ago, the platform (or whatever you call the thing you move) started getting squishy on me. It now jumps a bit, and I can't seem to get it edge-to-edge with a single quick scroll of the wheel. I'm now down to 120 lives (had been up around 145 or so). Has this happened to others, or have I worn the thing out? ;)

I tried sending in my score, but it sent the 29785 and not the current game score. Didn't seem to be any penalty for trying, though.

help i have the new version on the 8700g im stuck at 1,298,355 every time the ball hits the top i get a try again message. problem is i dont lose a life,
im currently stuck with 391 lives.

you can only send your highscore in once you lose all your lives, make sure you do that before the game quits on you

14655 is my highest. Level 31 that was. How do you tell what version one has?

My previous high score (on the Pearl) was 32,980 and I could never get past that until I made it to the third round and I'm now at 227,160 with 53 lives (and the number of lives keeps going up). The only problem with the Pearl is that sometimes the ball can just bounce off the screen and then the game freezes. Not sure if this is specific to my Pearl or a general software problem. Love Brickbreaker though.

I have completed all 32 levels and then got to level 20 in the same game I scored 26070. After looking at what you guys have posted, am I playing something different. How do I know what version I am playing

What is the Pearl?

The Pearl is the Blackberry that has the camera, mp3 player, yada yada. However, many people complained that the ball does some wacky shit like "disapearing" and not reapearing, so you have to restart the game.

Your version can be found in "Options" and then "Applications". I'm guessing v4.0.2??

I read through the first page of this forum and thought that 8k+ was something. Now I want to melt and go down the drain . Good thing though that I know I can never try to make the highest score, so at least I will stop trying and get some work done.
