Angry BlackBerry 7100g - AOL IM

Please Login to Remove!

Im a new BB 7100g user. So far I love the phone, only thing im bummed about is before when I had Nextel I could turn on IM forwarding with my AOL desktop client and the messages would go to my cell phone, but I could not reply.
I moved over to Cingular and got the BlackBerry in hopes I could finally respond to forwarded AOL IM messages to my cell phone, but now it just shows up as scrambled text on my phone.
Am I doing something wrong here, I have the BES at my office I just have not hooked my phone into yet.
Someone please enlighten me.

I realize that I can get the Verichat app and have the IM capibility, but does that mean ill get a scrambled message if someone decides to message me while im offline?

Thanks!
Tommy
