Question OK, dumb question but I need help with custom ringtones...

Please Login to Remove!

I downloaded "Audacity" to create my own custom ringtones using my own music, I cut the music to the trim I want, then select "Export as a MP3" but it tells me that I need the program Lame_enc.dll.
so I downloaded the Lame program, but it is a compressed zipped folder. My question is, how do I change it (from a compressed zipped folder) in order to open and run the program?
Sorry, I know its kinda "Lame"
Thanks in advance though!

Do you have winzip or winrar or any kind of program installed on your pc that can unzip the zip files?

Wirelessly posted (8700g: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Look for any common freeware "unzip" program. I thought windowsXP would open zipped files?

Further, I have audacity and had to get the mp3 encoder you need, it works.

winrar should work. lame_enc.dll seems to be a library from the software you are using. so after u unzipped put it inside the software directory and restart the program.

Got it figured out. The problem was that I wasnt saving the unzipped files, my stupidity. I now saved it to the same location that Audacity is, and everything is working fine now.

Thanks for your help guys!
