Default Voice Quality - 8700 vs. 8800

Please Login to Remove!

Looked through the forums and didn't see anything about it. My 8700 has really bad voice quality. It may just be the device, but others I know with it (all TMO with 8700g) have the same complaint. How is the voice quality with the 8800? I am in the San Diego coverage area if anyone else is that could comment.

yes, my MANY MANY 8700c's had HORRIBLE voice quality, also, the microphone picked up all of the background noise, and the speakerphone was horrible too..

The 8800 seems very good all around thus far...

I use the 8800 Speaker phone a LOT. Never could say that about my 8700c.

Default Thanks for the repiles -

I try to use the speaker a lot, too. I had already made up my mind to get the 8800, but now there's more reason. Thanks guys!

I think I may have gone above the halfway point on my speaker volume only a couple of times. I have been very happy with the speaker quality, speaker phone and non-speaker phone.

Both the call quality and RF reception are the best on my 8800. In addition, the speaker is very good as well. There is a big difference in my experience between my 8700 and the 8800. I'm truly glad that I bought the 8800.
