Default BB Found but "Not Connected"

Please Login to Remove!

I get the computer and the 8703 to find each other and to link to one another, but then the BB software says they still not connect to synch. What is the deal? I have a brand new Dell running Office 2007 and XP SP2.

I know many of you have alluded to this, but how do you make the device work and properly synch.

Delete the device from the desktop manager, exit out of it, do a hard reset on the phone, pair it again with the computer, start up device manager, add the phone again and it should work. Also, look at the phone if it asks you whether to allow the connection or not.

Anti- do you mean delete the device from the BT manager? I assume that's what you mean, not delete it from the BB Desktop manager. Thanks for your help...

Yes, I was talking about the BB desktop manager. When you go to connection options in the menu, then click on bluetooth config then add your device.
If you have already done that, and it still doesn't want to connect, delete it, reboot the phone, and start all over.

But your phone needs to be successfully paired with the windows BT manager before you use BB desktop manager i think

What BT drivers are you using? Most here have found the Desktop Manager does not work with anything but Windows BT drivers.
