Question 7290 Power on Problem?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi everyone!

I'm new to the forum, so if this issue has already been addressed, I apologize (I tried to use the search, but didn't find what I was looking for).

A few weeks ago, I bought a used 7290 off ebay. Since then, its worked pretty well...only a few little problems, but I managed to work those out. Anyway, last night, my bb froze. I tried to use the reset buttons (alt+cap+del), but that didn't work. I then removed the battery (which solved the problem), but when I put the battery back in, nothing happened. It was as if the phone was totally dead. I left the battery out overnight...this morning, I put the battery back in and still nothing happened. I put it in the charger for a few hours thinking that maybe the battery was dead....still nothing. Any ideas what happened and how to fix it? Thanks for the help!

Do you get any LED blinking or such, like RED RED, off RED RED?

Nope....nothing...no activity from the LED or from the screen. This happened once before, but I removed the battery for a bit and then put it back in...the phone worked again....this time, I get no activity at all.
