I just bought a 7130c and I heard from a friend that if you type in mypin on an email and hit enter or space, that your pin number should just appear in the message. He tried it on mine and it didn't work, and I haven't gotten it to work since. I don't know if it has anything to to with suretype or if capitalization has an effect on it. Anyone have any suggestions or insight? Thanks.

nothing special to it, just "mypin" and space (no quotes).

Check under Options > AutoText. You should see an entry that says:

mypin (pin%P) Specified Case

so I changed it and still nothing.

Slytech, if you reinstall/update your OS on the handheld it may recover all of the quick text options that are missing, the only problem is you will need to wipe the phone completely (you will loose all your data).

this is the correct syntax as you had it: mypin (pin:%P) Specified Case

make sure when you type mypin in any text box, you add the space afterwards, the space is what activates it to change to the number.
